Tori Tatum, LPC
Founder | Licensed Professional Counselor | Trauma Specialist
Tori Tatum, is a trauma therapist and founder of Counseling Reimagined, dedicated to helping individuals heal from anxiety, PTSD, and life transitions. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and advanced training in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), she helps clients break free from past wounds and reclaim their sense of self.
Her approach blends mindfulness, somatic therapy, and breathwork, creating a deeply healing and transformative experience. Whether working through trauma, navigating major life shifts, or seeking personal growth, Tori provides a safe, compassionate space where true healing can take place.
Alexa Walker, MSW, HMCC
Therapist | Health Mindset Coach | Postpartum & Women's Advocate
Alexa Walker is a compassionate and insightful therapist who prioritizes a human-first approach, treating each client with respect and understanding. Having personally navigated postpartum depression and disordered eating, she is deeply passionate about supporting women on their journey toward self-acceptance—as both mothers and individuals. Alexa believes that mothers deserve the same care and compassion they extend to their children, offering a profoundly empathetic and nuanced perspective on the complexities of postpartum identity.
Alexa holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia, is a certified Health Mindset Coach (HMCC), and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She integrates this diverse expertise into a holistic therapeutic approach, bridging the gap between mental and physical well-being. Her clinical work is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory and inner child therapy, strongly emphasizing trauma-informed care. She firmly believes that each client is their own agent of change, and her role is to provide the tools, guidance, and safe space necessary for them to reclaim their strength and autonomy.
Since 2018, Alexa has worked as a health and mindset coach. After experiencing firsthand the critical need for maternal mental health support following the birth of her first child, she expanded her scope by becoming a therapist. She has experience as an outpatient group therapist, primarily serving individuals navigating addiction, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related challenges.
“I am so excited to walk alongside you on this journey—helping you reclaim your sense of self beyond motherhood, find balance amidst the chaos, and embrace the woman you are. Whether through therapy or coaching, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, supported, and empowered to set boundaries, prioritize your well-being, and reconnect with your passions. You are not alone, and together, we will navigate the path toward healing, confidence, and the version of motherhood/womanhood that feels right for you."
Alexa is nearing graduation and preparing to begin her counseling practice. She is currently collecting a waitlist for new clients and will be practicing under the supervision of Tori Tatum, LPC, and Amanda Woods, Ph.D. If you're interested in working with Alexa, join the waitlist today!
